I'm no more knowledgeable or spiritual than most of you out there...but as I've gotten older with fewer days ahead of me than behind..I find myself reflecting more and more on life.
I've had a very full life compared to many...and still do. I'm not a cleric or a theologian. But from time to time..when I'm alone and all the mind chatter has stopped; I find myself in that special spot where the road is a little more clear.
Words seem to come easily and smoothly....like chocolate dripping off a spoon.
i call these little breaks in life SIGNPOSTS FOR THE SOUL....
So this year...I want to share them with you if you care to follow...
one post....each MONDAY....until the thoughts stop coming or the well dries up.
SIGNPOSTS OF MY SOUL
Monday....Week one
THERE ARE NEVER BORING PEOPLE.....ONLY THOUGHTLESS OBSERVERS!
i certainly do not want to offend anyone as these are my thoughts and mine alone...but if they interest you....please feel free to use them for your own soul work~~~~~
As always...sending warm thoughts and hugs to each and everyone of you.
Jo

What powerful words and so true. Lately, I too, have been reflecting more on life, where I have been and where I still want to go. Thank you for such a powerful thought.

Jo,
ReplyDeleteYour Monday reflection posts sound like a great idea. I look forward to reading more of them in the future.
Also, "mind chatter" is very annoying, isn't it? It's a very lovely thing when it disappears. :)
Blessings,
-Lady Rose

the implication of signposts is to aid in direction...to find a path...
ReplyDeletei look forward to the discovery my dear one :)
WE ALL reach that point at some stop in our lives and this journey. The destination is the same, but we all stop at different points to examine our own souls. How wonderful dearest that you are thinking "out loud"...we are together on this....Anita
ReplyDeleteFirst Jo, I wish to say thank you for your sweet comment on my Jakie. The thought behind it went far in making me feel comforted by the understanding that was shared.
ReplyDeleteSecond, isn't it sad that reflection comes as we age instead of while we're young and need it the most. I call these moments waiting for God's whispers. It's a calming feeling to sit and be still just to hear.
Again...thank you.
Debbie
