    I love the above quote.  I came across it while reading something yesterday.  I have known a few people during my lifetime who seem to live this quote everyday.  In fact, in times past, I was quite guilty of the same thing. One thing about getting older....you soon realize that you have fewer days ahead than behind....so chose to use them wisely.   Just sayin' Jo

This is a long post.... O.k......let's start off with the loo.......LOL LOL...... this is actually the small guest bathroom.  Since we have decided to move any guests we may have to a local hotel....I wanted to use the bathtub as a wonderful place for my inside plants.  There is a huge skylight in the ceiling allowing tremendous light...and by grouping them all together they get more of a greenhouse effect.  Oh....by the way.....this bathroom is off a short front hall just a little to the right of our entry door so you do notice it first thing! This move was a big downsize in square footage for us 1,400 square feet to be exact so I have had to use my existing things in new unexpected ways as we certainly could not go out and buy new. The dining room has pretty much the same things as in our last house ..... but we did have to purchase a little inexpensive dining table. High ceilings and huge windows at the ceiling give the house an expansive fe...

Have any of you been fortunate enough to have a life long girlfriend? I know......I haven't.  Oh I have friends that have been in my life for many, many years...but I don't have one left that is from my pre- school or grammar school years.   Occasionally one will come to mind such as Stephanie....my very best friend....in my middle school years.  I spent hours at her house playing tether-ball....gads...I wonder if anyone even knows what tether-ball is in today's world? Another one....Jenny....in my early school years in a very small town in Kansas.  Alas, my family ended up moving far away from its roots so....no more Jenny. And there was Nancy....she was PERFECT....I mean perfect in the nicest way.  Her clothes were always ironed, her skin and hair were beautiful, she was kind and her mom was A STAY AT HOME MOM. They had dessert EVERY NIGHT after dinner....I mean every night!!! A kid's dream. Each of these girls touched my life in a specia...

1.  Always greet the day with gusto 2.  Enjoy every meal you eat...to the fullest 3.  Ask for love when you need it 4.  Forgive, forgive and then forgive some more   5.  Take a little rest ~~ everyday 6.  Don't soil your nest 7.  Always appreciate those you love 8.  And last...but not least....bark...ahhh....speak up when you need to Thank you sweet Sophie for bringing so much joy into our life.
