O.K......shuffle on over here on your pretty little feet and hear about my most recent blogging dilemma.  I have only the most rudimentary technological knowledge.  I often refer to myself as a Ticonderoga #2 in a word perfect world.  For those of you who are too young to know what a Ticonderoga #2 is.....it is a simple pencil. Anyway, the other day I attempted to log into my blog and alas, I could not get into it in my usual manner.  Brad, my husband, was out golfing so I could not ask the computer wiz for help.  Anyway, after feeling totally helpless....I started clicking on things and somehow ended up at Google having to sign in with a password.  Of course, couldn't remember my password so I entered a very old one from years ago.  Alas....that event made even more of a mess of things.  I created a whole new blog....WHICH OF CORSE I DID NOT WANT.. Frustration set in as I had to leave for an appointment an...

I am always tickled when I see yet another post in social media about collecting plants....as though THAT was a new thing!   I have always had plants once I had my own home.  In fact...in my early twenties and thirties I had as many as 150 of the little friends living with me and my family. I do admit that number became little over-whelming as I had my children and life became more complicated....but I never disposed of my friends...I just became more selective in which ones I was willing to nurture.  Actually, that is kind of like life....you only keep friends you REALLY VALUE.     Anyway...my plants have been with me through thick and thin...in fact they used to travel with us when we would leave AZ for the summer. But...due to time and age factors (both mine and my plants) I have cut my numbers significantly....(the plants..NOT my age)  haha.....  My next several posts will be about amusi...

Anyone who knows me....knows I'm certainly NOT a minimalist....with color or with my home.  I have been looking for a rug to incorporate into my living room...it seems like FOREVER.  Anyway....finally found one I adore!!! Ordered this Persian  on-line from One King's Lane....rugs can be tricky...and ordering them over the internet can really turn out to be a nightmare...but as I said....I could not be happier. Love the color, love the design and it is just enough color in the middle of my room. A large coffee table normally goes on top of it....but I wanted to show you the design of the rug clearly, so took these shots without the table in place. Oh and the best part is the rug was marked down half-price. Needed a pop of color on that traditional rug of ours and this one fits the bill. ~~~ BTW......here is a shot of my studio.....where I can be creative from time to time...when I'm not messing with dogs....teehee. No.....this is not the pumpkin...this would be called the raspberry..... No....this is not the pumpkin....this would be called the gum drop..... No......this is not the pumpkin.....this would be called the lemon aid..... This is the pumpkin. This was my Christmas gift this year.  My darling husband asked me what I wanted....and since we needed to change cars for our motor home...I knew what the exact answer would  be. This is my third VW.  My very first car was a "bug" the teal blue color...when they first came out.  I bought and paid for it myself. I had an interim one in lime green called "lightning bug". And now....."the pumpkin"....I told my husband this will be my last car...he laughed.  I love it that I began driving in a VW Bug and I'll probably have my license revoked when I'm too old to drive.....and I'll still be in a  VW BUG.  (O:(O:(O   Heck...I'd even be buried in the thing if they would let me. LOL L...
