DOES YOUR BLOG REFLECT WHO YOU REALLY ARE??

I know mine doesn't.......

when I began blogging and selected a title for my blog....I know exactly who I wanted to honor....my beautiful French grandmother...Veda Maupin...

however....as I have continued down this path...I have realized that my blog does not really reflect me....my style....oh....the writing is mine...and most of the pictures are mine...but my header does not reflect who I really am.

SO........with that said.....there will be some changes coming here soon....I really am a Bohemian at heart..

La Boheme in French...perhaps it is because of my somewhat gypsy lifestyle..so it is time to freshen up a little.  Oh my blog will still reflect on my lovely grandmother...but it will also be a little more of me.

I do so hope all of you will continue with me on this little journey....as I do so enjoy each and every one of you.

so please keep an eye out for me and my new look.

Hugs to all....

Jo
p.s. by the way....the lantern is the ONLY THING I purchased on my recent little trip.

  2. Oh, of course I will still be with you. Now, I understand a bit more. Sometimes people come into our lives and immediately they click. We've got much in common. In the 60's I gave up everything to move to Greenwich Village, which at the time was very bohemian. I guess I was what you would call a bohemian hippie. Those were special times in my life.

  3. I love that you honor your grandmother. I loved mine so much and I talk about her often on mine . I am who I am today because of her and I am alittle like my Mom. I am looking forward to learning more about you. On my blog I try so to be true to myself and who I am.

  5. Hi Jo!
Welcome back from your trip and thanks for your lovely comment (yes, I love pugs, never was a big doglover, more a cat lover but sweetheart is allergic, long storie short, I love pugs! so tell your friend, two is better, but with two kiddo's one is for now enough for me.)
So, what I wanted to say was, you are more bohemian? Gypsy? My favourite words to hear about someone! I sometimes think I was a gypsy in a former life... I love your grandmothers name (if you are refreshening the blog, does your name stay?) Anyway, hope you will have a lovely week, all the best, Maureen x

  12. Hi Jo, in answer to your question, I think my blog reflects who I am. I even wrote about how I decided on my blog name and how my often turbulent relationship with my father who was a farmer shaped who I am today. It was a bit hard to write but therapeutic! Will look forward to seeing your new blog look. And I do think it is sweet how you honor your grandmother in your blog. Take care. ~Cheryl

  13. Oh I will be your biggest fan ...you see I am a bohemian girl as well ! I have always had a gypsy bohemian soul.
My blog reflects what i love but it does not reflect what I'm going through. It takes me away from my troubles.
I can't wait to see your new header Jo!

  17. Hi Jo. It takes bravery to present yourself as you really are - without any pretence and people will actually love you more for it.
I too have the gypsy in my soul!

  18. Jo,

I am new to coming to your blog, so I look forward to seeing your "new look."

Two months ago, I changed the header of my blog to give a better relfection of who I am. It's good to be as honest as possible.

  21. I think it's beautiful of you to have your blog centered around someone who meant so much to you in life. She had an impact on you. To make some changes are growth for you, so a new look will reflect who you are and should. But it will be a dedication to your Gramma. How special is that.
