I know most of the country is having a heat wave.......
HERE IN AZ........WE ALWAYS HAVE A HEAT WAVE......ALL SUMMER
THOUGHT I WOULD SHOW YOU MY GARDEN BEFORE THE REAL HEAT SET IN AS I HAVE
BEEN
SEEING SO MANY BEAUTIFUL GARDENS OUT THERE.
BY NOW MOST OF THESE FLOWERS ARE GONE.....SOME DEAD.......SOME JUST BARELY HANGING ON..........
Hi Jo
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful! Yes, the heat is on. I see you have a Christmas cactus.. Last summer I had mine sitting on the patio table on the porch.. I almost lost it.. My front porch gets full sun. So... It is happy now cooling off in my enclosed patio...
Stay cool my dear friend.
Blessings,
Penny

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you captured them in photos, before the awful heat hit.
ReplyDeleteWe have heat, but things aren't withering yet, in my neck of the woods.
But we are getting kind of sick of it. :-)
But your heat is not with humidity, and it's supposed to be more livable. But how would I know? I've never been there. :-)
And what a beautiful garden you have. Thank you, for sharing your flowers. The heat is taking its toll on some of the plants around here but some seem to be hanging in there so far. I am having to do a lot of watering to keep them looking as well as they do though.
ReplyDeleteAfter all this heat we will be very glad to see fall around here. Hugs
HI JO!!!!
ReplyDeleteI understand HOT too, we are always hot from June til Oct!!!!But then it is the best!!!!
I will be glad when hubby is retired and we can escape the heat for a few months each year!!!!!
MY flowers are almost all dead, the ones in pots any way, I will be pulling them out for the summer here soon.
It's just to hot for almost anything to grow here!!!!
stay cool
hugs,
jamie
Hello Jo... your flowers look beautiful... "Where flowers bloom so does hope" ~ Lady Bird Johnson xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteJo, I feel bad that you have this heat all summer long. We are in the midst of a heat wave and I can't stand one more day of it. I have been a recluse all week long! It is supposed to cool off into the 70's or 80's this weekend...yay! I'm sorry your plants died, maybe they will come back with cooler temps.

All my flowers are dead now except for my gladiolas. We need rain here badly! It was 104 yesterday and no rain in sight!
