AUTUMN MEMORIES..............

"Slow down and enjoy life.  It's not only the scenery you miss by going too fast~~you also miss the sense of where you are going....and why."
Eddie Cantor

Getting ready to depart from the North is such a bitter sweet time for us.

We see so many wonderful spots along the way ..... and being able to see the change of seasons is so very special.   Arizona does not have the change of seasons like other parts of the country goes from hot to less hot. LOL

These shots have been taken from all over this beautiful country of ours.  Oregon, New Mexico, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Iowa.

Each spot was so very beautiful in its own way.

We have yet to travel much down South or to the New England states....but we will make is on our to do list.

By the way....just learned how to put my name on my pictures.  Have done a few is really not too difficult.....but being somewhat computer challenged (O:  it does take a little time to do.   Being able TO REMEMBER the process can be a little difficult for those of us who are "technoslugs". LOL LOL

Hope you have enjoyed my little photo gallery today.  We will be leaving here in a few days will post and check in when I can.

Enjoy all this beautiful autumn weather.

  1. So very lovely to look at Jo. It somewhat refreshed me. I has been crazy hot here but it did rain a tiny bit last night.
    Smiles. Dottie

  2. Beautiful photos,so green and colored !It's true that often going too fast in life we can forget where we are going and why we are doing that...but,at the end,you will open our eyes and find the right way

  3. These are some wonderful shots, some wonderful memories. I thank you for sharing them with us. Such beauty on this earth.

  4. such gorgeous photos, jo! you will miss the seasons

  6. I very much loved the photo tour today.

Yesterday I prepared the Newman's baked chicken, my husband is a meat and potato's man, and not inclined to like new recipes. He loved this, we both did. Thank you.

    Be safe on your travels.....

  7. Such a nice photo tour....sounds as if you are getting ready to go on another one; road trips are so much fun!

It was very nice of you to pop in from Dottie's and leave such a nice comment. So good to meet another gardener.(-: Have a super day.

  8. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spots and for showing these excellent and creative photos!
Thanks for your visit and comment. Should you come to the Netherlands, I'll be delighted to be your hostess!

  9. Beautiful photos,
    so fresh and clean.

I love the quote about Autumn, so true.

Have a good week and I have enjoyed your blog.

  10. I always admire the artful arrangement of your blog site. You are in no way a technoslug. When I see the arrangement of text and photos, I wonder if I could ask if you would suggest a direction for my anemic site.

Your script is always easy to read. In addition to the visual portion of the script, I find that the poems and text are also easy and satisfying reading. Your technique of presentation are quite inviting. I feel as if I am coming to a room filled with neighbors who are having tea together.

I wonder which photo is New Mexico. Perhaps it is the statue of children with book? Beautiful photo sample of autumn in North America. I love your watermark.

  11. Beautiful photos! I love the fall and all the wonderful colors. I love the signatures on your photos...I need to learn how to do that : ) Safe travels.

  12. Jo, your photos always put me in a happy, peaceful place! I love living vicariously through your travels. ~xoxo M

  13. Your blog is a refuge Jo, never underestimate yourself..
I know of no other soul who can take off in a gypsy wagon and find such beauty... And we're blessed to be able to see it all. Drive safe and lets see what happens on your way south :)

  14. I like the statuary of the 2 kids reading together and the plus size bathing beauty!

  15. Gorgeous photos! I'm still hoping for a few warm sunny days before the chill of fall begins. I've seen a few leaves beginning to change color. Have a great journey!

  16. love the little mermaid! All the photos are beautiful and so colorful.
I haven't figured out the name on the picture thing yet but I think I'm just too lazy to try!

    Have a safe trip home.

  19. The Photo Gallery was lovely Jo... and so much fun to come along on your Journey visually... I can certainly relate to the challenge of Tech knowledge coming slowly but surely, you're doing a good job!

Hope to bump into you at the next Occassional Sale then at SWEET SALVAGE. I had so many Supporters from the Land Of Blog come up and introduce themselves, it was quite surreal, and such a Joy to meet some of this wonderful Community face-to-face and get to know each other and chat! Had to smile at the hot and less hot reference, so true! It finally dipped below 100 for a brief while, but its back up again. *Wipes sweat from brow...*
