WEDNESDAY WISHES...................

Well...we are home at last.  Had such a wonderful time catching up with old friends...but Dorothy said it best "there is no place like home."

It has turned quite warm here for the last few my gardens have exploded.  More Iris than I know what to do with and ROSES pouring out my ears.  LOL LOL

Now mind you...I'm not complaining...I appreciate each and everything that I am given in this life.

However.....If I was really honest.....I wish I lived here......

Could you just imagine waking up to all this beauty....each and every day....and the aroma....oh it must be heavenly.

I wouldn't even mind the bees.......

So please join me in my magic field of lavender....and sit with me a while.

I would love to have a nice chat....and catch up.....then we would go pick lavender till our  baskets were full.

Sending springtime wishes to each and everyone of you.

  1. Home is where the heart is! Glad you had a good trip.

  2. What a beautiful post, Jo. I'm sure you're glad to be home. Glad you had a wonderful time. The field of lavender looks so beautiful and I can only imagine the aroma! Sometimes the simple things are the loveliest, aren't they? Take care.

  3. I think I have been having the same dreams!!

How nice that you have things blooming...another week or two and I will have daffodils and tulips. Yay!!

  4. A lovely thought Jo and beautiful images. I would be happy to sit with you a while in the deep fragrance of lavender :)

    Lovely photos....

    Jeanne xx

  5. If I could wake up and smell lavender every day I'd be a happy camper! My flowers are slowly peeking up, and I can't wait to see them bloom.

  6. Hi Jo, your garden full of irises and roses sounds wonderful - and that field of lavender is just gorgeous! Do you have any lavender in your garden? We have a few hardy plants but I'd love a row just like in your photo. Glad you're all home safe and sound - and you are right, there is no place like home and aren't we both blessed to have homes we love to come home to! Ciao, bella!

  7. Welcome home! Sounds like you had a fabulous time. I have a container of dried lavendar from Pottery Barn and have just started making small sachets. :) Have a great rest of the week. Tammy

  8. Glad you're home safe and had fun. I'd love to see flowers of any kind out my back door. Reality is, I'll be seeing more of that cold white stuff..

Before I moved here, I lived close to lavender fields and loved to take a ride, just to smell all the purple beauty and take deep breaths.

Enjoy your beauty. And keep showing it to us:)

  9. Welcome home.

    Lovely photos.

But guess what? I am one who does not like the scent of Lavender. Honest! :-) Takes all kinds to make a world, hu?

    Gentle hugs...

  10. Welcome home. That field of purple is magnificent.

Your Banner Quote really was perfect this day and if you don't mind I'm adding it to that Post. "TRUE JOY IS UNTOUCHED BY CIRCUMSTANCE." Unknown AMEN!!!

I've so enjoyed our chat in the Garden today... and gathering Lavender on the canvas of our imaginations. I've actually started growing some from seed this Season and it's looking Hopeful, so we'll see?
