DO ANIMALS HAVE SOULS????.......................................








I CERTAINLY DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION.....BUT FROM THESE PICTURES IT DOES APPEAR THAT GOD INDEED HAS GIVEN ANIMALS THE ABILITY TO LOVE AND FEEL AFFECTION......SO WHY WOULDN'T HE HAVE GIVEN THEM SOULS??

    You know when the Prophet Elijah was taken away to Heaven in in whirlwind, he was taken off in a chariot with a horse. I feel HE has his beloved animals in Heaven! I believe One fine day we will see all the animals we ever loved! I believe they do have Souls too. Lovely post Jo...oxo

    Yes yes they do!!!!!!!!!! And it comforts me to know when my darling dad passed on his beloved dogs where all there to great him!

    Beautiful post..the pictures are gorgeous! Oh yes of course..every living thing..to me ..has a soul and a spirit....a tree, an animal.. a tiny rock,a flower..a bird..the land sky and sea....we are all one! Have a happy day!

    Oh Jo of course they do... if I did not know I would be with all God's precious little critters and my sweet pets who have passed away, I don't know if I could go on... there are so many lessons humans could learn from theses dear "souls"... I actually have more animal friends than human ones I do believe... beautiful photos... xoxo Julie Marie

    great question to ponder~ I think they do...And spirit too. I think if we can attract the right people into our lives, some who are our soul mates or kindred spirits. Why can't the same apply to our pets and other critters?

    Sometimes I get a wee bit "skeert" that animals have more soul than human beings...

    Any living breathing animal that gives soooo much unconditional love and companionship absolutely has to have a soul!! My little crazy weiner dog is sitting here with me, and I know he has one!!

    I'm currently reading a book entitled "chosen by a horse" by Susan Richards and though I've not gotten too far in the book, I'm sure it will leave me with more convinced of this fact.

    Dear Jo,

    You at least show heart for animals! That is a plus for anyone. How people treat the elderly, kids and animals is revealing a LOT about them! I truly do hope that our pets have souls and will reunite with us again one day... But then again, a weird thought if you have to face all the animals one has eaten over a life-time and on who's skin we walked in our shoes...

    I'm touched by this post. I've never understood why (most) religions say that animals don't have souls!! They have the capacity to respond to our emotions and bring happiness to our lives, so in my opinion...they must!

    Thanks for the BEAUTIFUL images, animals are more gentle than humans somtimes.

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY......I'M GOING TO HAVE A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY MONTH!!!

I turn 67 today.....and actually I feel better as the years accumulate.  Since I've gotten older I actually have decided that I will celebrate each day during the month of October...just being grateful for being healthy and alive.   I hope each one of you who follow this little blog of mine celebrate each day along with me.... PUTTING ON MY GYPSY SHOES......................

Bo Bunny Paper Collection Well.......the coach is packed...the laundry done in the condo....and we will be on our way tomorrow. I often do feel like a gypsy moving from one spot to another....and each year my gratitude grows as I am able to continue this lifestyle. I truly would love to "do up" my coach in Gypsy Style...but alas....not too practical as things probably would be flying all over as we traveled down the road.  (O: But.....a girl can dream.....can't she? ~~~ My suitcase is packed with memories To be opened further down the road When my caravan must be halted The bag waits to be opened Stories to be told and shared Like the gypsy's of so long ago But for now....the wheels keep turning And my case grows larger still Waiting for the day..I must be stopped   And my heart, to the brim, will be filled Hugs from me to you, Jo Gypsy photos:  Electric Gipsyland on Flickr

HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND A MERRY CHRISTMAS

This is a picture of our little tree this year.  Each year our trees seem to be smaller, a function of our getting older and just wanting to deal with less stuff.  I'm sure a few of you feel them same.  Although it does seem to be a little weird that we want to deal with fewer Christmas decorations and give each other MORE STUFF in the way of presents under the tree.   Ahhh...being human is such a quandary sometimes!                                          MERRY CHRISTMAS                                                          Jo
