The Rains come in Currents
Like Waves on a Beach
With such Unexpected Pleasure
That's just out of Reach
They come on so softly
Like a bird in Free Fall
Hands reaching for Raindrops
Catching nothing at All
Lasting only a Moment
Like a Fleeting Embrace
The Drops make a Memory
On a Child's Upturned Face
Have a beautiful day ~ dear friends.

It rains a lot where we live on the west coast of British Columbia and it doesn't bother me a bit except for when it rains all of June.
ReplyDeleteI embrace the rain and it encourages me to bake or to stew or make anything warm, comforting and delicious. Plus it makes our rain forest green, green, green.
The last shot is my favorite.
Thank you for the beautiful post. Your photographs are fabulous - love the rainbow.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week.
Blessings,
Erin
