DO YOU EVER SEEM TO SUFFER FROM BLOGGING BLOCK???
I know I do.
We all try to find interesting and pithy things to post about ..... giving something to this world of ours....leaving our mark....somewhere.....
somehow.......
somehow.......
but lately....I've been coming up against this.
don't know if it is the holidays and all the effort that one must put forth for that or whether I am just at a lull
in my life.....
BUT I DO KNOW I WILL BE ABLE TO BREAK THROUGH THIS LITTLE IMPEDIMENT WITH JUST A LITTLE QUITE TIME TO MYSELF.

I'M GOING TO GO FIND A QUIET CORNER AND BE STILL AND AT PEACE KNOWING CREATIVITY IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER AND I CAN FEEL GOD PEEKING AT ME WITH A GLINT IN HIS EYE WAITING.....WAITING.......
WAITING..........
let's find a quiet corner today dear friends......

Hi Jo!! YOU won the giveaway at My French country home today!!!!! Congrats my friend!!!!!! ;)Rachel
ReplyDeleteOh yes I sure do hit the proverbial what do I post about today, wall! I just walk away until something strikes me or vent a little vent that I need clear my head from. It comes back though, in it's own time. After the break I realize I needed the break. Strange how some things teach us in hind sight isn't it? Hugs. Tammy
ReplyDeleteSo very true Jo~ It is just around the corner. Sometimes it just takes some time.
ReplyDeleteHI Jo..I love all your posts! fabulous read! no worries if you dont feel like it..follow your flow...I blog when I can or when i feel sparked! Beautiful post..yes i love those quiet corners..and creativity around every bend!

Kiki~
You should never feel pressured to post dear Jo. We are here when you feel like posting. That's what friends are for!
ReplyDeletewell, it looks like french farmhouse has given you
ReplyDeletesomething to blog about! :) congratulations.
your blog is always fresh and beautiful.
i've heard people say that they have to take breaks
when they have 'the block.'
YOU hit it right on the head, Jo. Quiet time is needed because we need to LISTEN to the voice that in turn asks us to write in all down. Without this quiet, I get anxious, because it is then that I get my inspiration.
ReplyDeleteIt will come to you dearest, but even in THINKING OUT LOUD, you have inspired us all to remember to take the time for ourselves and GOD.
Have a quiet evening. Anita
Wow this is EXACTLY how I have been feeling! BLogging blah is what I've been having too.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it is the coming of fall.
Here's to creativity around the corner Jo!!

Well we just have to step back and live life for a while and suddenly the flow is back.
ReplyDeleteHandle this, however it feels best, for/to you.
ReplyDeleteBut...
Could it be that you are putting too much pressure on yourself...? To come up with interesting, pithy, making-a-mark things to post about?
Could the pressure, be an impediment?
How about just typing... Putting down, whatever comes into our head... No searching for deeeeeeeeeeeep topics or newwwwww ideas...
Maybe?
:-)
Or perhaps, I'm just saying the above, to deal with how I blog. :-) 'Cause I don't try for "amazing stuff" to say. I just sit down and ramble a bit. Every day.
ReplyDeleteNot to keep up with some daily blogging duty.
Just because I feel like doing it.
That's how blogging feels best, to/for me.
But I'm not everyone! We each need to blog, as feels best to/for us.
:-)
All I have to do is open my eyes and look around...the Ponderosa is just chalked full of blogfodder. Now, do I get in a funk and get lax...you betcha!
ReplyDeleteI do believe this post shows your not blocked after-all.
Have a marvelously blessed day sweeetie!!!
Jo...they come and go, moments like this. When it happens I usually take a walk, flip thry my favourite coffee table books, read magazines or watch a few of my favourite movies. Somewhere, sometime...it comes and then often as quick as it comes it is forgotten! Drats!
ReplyDeleteToday I had a thought while I was on the treadmill and out it came, my iphone as I tried to type while walking...it is very tricky, trust me! I think I can comprehend a word or two. The other thing I do is just spend time commenting and seeing what everyone is writing about. I often find it inspiring to do that.
Best wishes for an inspiring weekend Jo!
