FIRST OF ALL.....I WANT TO THANK EACH OF YOU FOR SENDING WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY WISHES MY WAY.....IT WAS A WONDERFUL DAY FOR ME......!!
O.K. we are still traveling and I wanted to share some pics from along the road...I take most of these pics while we are moving along so it can be a little tricky to catch something that actually turns out. Oh well....here is my sweet offering today....
The above pictures were taken in a corn field in Oregon.
Photos taken while driving thru OREGON's forest toward the pacific ocean.
I love God's paintbrushes blowing in the wind.....
Pics along the coast of northern California and Southern Oregon
Don't know about you....but I see a lion's head in the above pic and an elephant's head in the one above that.....
and last but not least....
GOD doing his magic at SUNSET on the ocean...
Nothing can match God's artistry on this earth.....it is there for ALL to enjoy and it doesn't cost us one dime!!
Thank-you is all the prayer we need.....
Have a beautiful day.
Jo
Love the photos -- those paintbrushes especially! There's a Happy 101 Award for you over at my blog today, Jo! (Oct 5th post)
ReplyDeleteGirlie, you KNOW
ReplyDeleteyou had me at OREGON,
one of my very favorite
states where I lived as
a child from age 11 until
almost 14. Aren't the
forests on the way to
the coast just amazing?
Fantastic photos, Jo!
xx Suzanne
PS: I sent you an e-mail
responding to your comment
and then noticed your
address had "no reply at
blogger" in it, so you
wouldn't have rec'd it...
Just wanted you to
know that I got a chuckle
at the "snoopy dance!"
What a pretty blog you have. (I feel like saying it in a Big Bad Wolf sort-of way, but I won't 'cause I've just met you.)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog. I love the pictures of the rocks in the water.

ReplyDeleteThe coast along there must be just awesome and how you caught these shots traveling shows how gifted you are Jo.
I am so very sorry I missed your Birthday...no wonder I love you so one of my dearest girlfriends shares your birthday too.
Glad you were out capturing Gods wonderous beauties while celebrating your special day.
Happy Belated Birthday and many more.
So sorry I am behind with my visits. Hopefully things will slow down a bit for me in the coming months but with my brother Gary having to be taken to Houston for his chemo and radiation treatments I have a feeling things will not slow down as much as I want them to. Main thing is we get him there and he can beat this.
Loved hearing from you
Love
Maggie

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I think the sights were birthday gifts to you!
ReplyDeleteI have never been to Oregon, but now I REALLY want to go. The beauty you've captured in these lovely photos is amazing. Sunset is one of my favorite times of the day; I adore sunrises as well, but there's something so magical about an evening sunset complete with all the warm colors. Not sure exactly when you celebrated your birthday, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I'm of the opinion one should celebrate for the entire month. All the best to you!! Sheila
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAnd Happy Belated Birthday, you darling woman, you! :-)
