today..of all days I'm feeling a little lonely and lost. I know tomorrow is Valentine's day and I certainly have that special Valentine in my life but for some reason I have a little case of the blues.
Don't get me wrong: I'm extremely appreciative of all that God has given me and then some. But....I still have a few little loose ends to tie up and I think that is what has laid me low.
It is time that I focused on the things I can change and let go of the things I can't.
As we all know, that is easier said than done.
Anyway, sorry for this blue post on this sweetest of days; the day before Valentines Day. This, too, shall pass.
Here's wishing each and everyone of you a wonderful and loving
Valentine's Day.
We all have those days and it is a good thing to post about them and share them with us so that it is not so heavy on your shoulders alone.
ReplyDeleteYou will feel better.
Wishing you a sweet weekend - hope the blues pass very quickly!
ReplyDeleteMany many warm hearts for you, dear Josette and sunny days and LOVE from all things around you!-)))***

Hello Jo, sorry you are feeling blue... I have noticed alot of the ladies feeling that way lately, maybe the weather too??? In my last posts, I showed our little farmhouse that we built and I love so, but we moved when developers took over our countryside... I got very emotional over that post and all of my memories of the little farm we once had... it IS hard to let go of things you no longer have and~or people and pets, etc... sending you heartfelt wishes for a Happy Valentines Day and feeling like your old self again soon... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteJo,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lori....it is OK to have these days....feel the sadness and try to move on....I KNOW that is easier said than done. I lvoe you!

Jo~~~
ReplyDeleteIt is okay to do a post, happy or sad, because we would not be honest if we were to pretend that we were always up, up, up. I feel a little low tonight myself and don't know why and sometimes that makes it worse. But tomorrow will be here before we know it and there is always THAT promise.
xoxo
Janie
Hope the blues go away and tomorrow you are seeing only red. Red valentines, that is.

ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day with a Big Hug
Life hands us many challenges and sometimes it causes us to lose our way. Then we feel like we are all alone. It's good to reach out. As your blogging friends, we understand. Please take care...

the sad days are part of our lives - I know these days - do something good for yourself - think of the many happy hours in the life - I know that´s not easy - I'll send you all love greetings - hugs - Ruth
ReplyDeleteNo need to be worried about a 'blue' post, even now. Part of anyone's 'blueness' just might be, the silly over-build-up to holidays like Valentine's Day and Christmas.
ReplyDeleteAs if they are supposed to be super, duper, special and all that. -hehhhh- Nothing can live up to all that buildup.
And yes, please do work on what you can change. We all have that to do, too.
But as to those things you "can't change," are you totally sure of that? Or are you looking at some bothersome stuff, as Your Duty? Or I Have to Do This? Mmmmm, who sezzzzzzzzzzzzzz? I think we really need to apply that "Who sezzzz?" to a lot of stuff in life.
If nothing else, it sure would shake up all those who DEMAND stuff of us. For one reason or another. ,-))))))))))))
Just wondering, do you really need Word Verification turned on? If you fear spam, couldn;t you turn Word Ver. off, and turn on the Comment Verification?
ReplyDeleteWith Comment Verification, we read our Comments, before we let them Publish. So, no spam.
And we alllllllll read our Comments some time, don't we? So, why not read them, before we Publish them?
Just wondering.............
Happy Valentine Day! I get the blues alot, mostly because I have a lot of loss in the early spring months. I know its coming and I try ot prepare for those months ahead.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get the loose ends all tied up, things like that can be pressing, especially if your not looking forward to tackleing them.
