I actually have both. I'd fought against a cell phone from day one, but in my old apartment, when I found that the people upstairs had discovered a way to use my phone line in the basement, I cancelled it and hubby and I both got cell phones. Then, when we moved here, we put in a land line as well. When my old cell phone broke, hubby got me a Smart Phone. I use it for everything...playing games, keeping in touch, and when my old computer breaks down, visiting blogs. Have a very happy holiday, my friend.
Oh, by the way, do you remember party lines? LOL!!!
Oh Mary....of course I remember party lines. I tried to explain them to my grandson the other day and I think he thought it was some kind of "party" using the phone.....what a hoot THAT was!! LOL LOL
And a beautiful Christmas to you too! I love this image! My grandparents woupd be shocked by cell phones, big screen TVs, e-mail! All of this technology. Totally flummoxed! Lol.
Beautiful blessings to you this Christmas, dear Jo! You are such a beacon of light... :) I just caught up with all of your posts I've missed...so much beauty and wisdom. Love your gorgeous "Monique"... :))) Merry Christmas!! xoxo, - Irina
