I'm always looking for ways to make something on a shoestring. I think it is wise in today's world to shrink one's footprint as well as doing things as inexpensively as possible.
To wit.....I am sharing a little stick light I made from a tree limb found in my yard..and a string of LED lights that plug in to the wall.
Had the lights left over from some other project and the best part is I can easily unplug them in the evening when I go to bed.
Simplicity and frugality.....the perfect combination.

I really like your display. I enjoy working with all these new lights of today and admit to buying way too many solar lights for outside and battery lights (with remote control and timers) for inside. They add so much to the ambience of the room or yard area.
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE that stick light! In the first and last photos, it looks like the stick is in fact the arms of the certamic figurine -- one arm uplifted, the other not. Like she is reaching for the stars! I thought it was quite spiritual, actually.
ReplyDeleteSimplicity and frugality are lessons all folks could benefit from. Fairy lights make everything lovely and festive.
ReplyDeleteDebra.....I have to tell you..YOU, my friend, are so much more observant than I. It does in face look just as you described.
