O.K. people.....here's the thing....We are all in this together, so do something wonderful for yourself. Please bring something beautiful into your home. You deserve it, your emotions deserve it, your family deserves it, and your space deserves it.
If you lucky enough to have a yard....go out and whack on some bushes and bring some greenery inside. I've done this here with
One can only image how long this "sheltering in place" will be in effect but don't let this bump in our society let you lose your long term goal of living and having a beautiful life.
I know many folks have lost loved ones...and it happened so fast and out of the blue....but life does go on. Looking at the earth reaffirms this exact thought. Summer follows Spring and after Summer comes Autumn and then Winter. The planet does survive and so shall we.
Just me thinking out loud today.

You're right! This will not last forever and in the meantime, we should still nourish our spirits with beauty!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking WITH you, my friend! I brought in some forsythia branches the other day...their cheerful bloms keep unfolding brightening my day.
ReplyDeleteThen there are the birds singing their little hearts out in the morning when I go out on the front porch to look at the full moon...

Beautiful share! Please have a blessed Easter! Stay healthy and safe and be blessed. My lilac bush isn't blooming but it must be waiting for the snow to pass on Easter SONday. HUGS across the miles.
ReplyDeleteYou made me laugh at loud---go whack something...LOL. I will go cut more daffodils tomorrow, though the ones from earlier in the week are still gorgeous. NOTHING is green here yet, buds, but below freezing night temps, kinda dampered everything. Fun post---along with whack something is bake something! I'm staring at the last of my Hershey's cocoa and there just might be enough for 1/2 batch of brownies...or maybe one chocolate bunny...Grins, have a great weekend, hugs, Sandi
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Resurrection Day, even though isolated we are not alone.
ReplyDeleteI do this every single day. I am sorry about no fresh flowers, or that much. But I have been hacking away at my mini-daffs and that's always a plus, seeing them inside. My big daffs are yet to come. I'm baking like crazy, all decorated, and frankly, loving this quiet world where the sky seems more blue (when it's not cloudy and raining), there is little traffic or noise. I don't mind staying in. Maybe in a few months I'll feel differently, but meanwhile, a neighborhood or yard walk is fine. Wishing you a lovely Easter and a safe and healthy one.
