PLEASE - STOP AND HAVE A SPOT OF TEA



 Yesterday, in the middle of the afternoon, I stopped what I was busy doing and made myself a cup of tea.  I don't often do this, and I don't know why.  The Brits have solved world problems and wars over just such a thing, and the Japanese and Chinese have taken tea ceremonies to an art form.

Having a hot cup of tea can be as simple as just putting the kettle on or as elaborate as setting down and having high tea with scones and teacakes. 

So during this busy time of year, or anytime for that matter, make time for yourself - whether it be with an elaborate teapot and beautiful teacup or the kettle and your old cup at the kitchen table.  It is such a civil thing to do, don't you think?

    I couldn't agree more. When we remodeled I had a special hot water tap installed so I could have tea any time. Not as glamorous as putting a kettle on, but easy.

    Tea calms me down. My daughter sometimes makes me a cup when she knows I've had a bad day. Always cheers me up - the effort as much as the tea.

    There is nothing wrong with taking a good cup of tea when you feel like. We all need to take time to stop and smell the roses. Nice job and thanks for visiting me.

PUTTING ON MY GYPSY SHOES......................

Bo Bunny Paper Collection Well.......the coach is packed...the laundry done in the condo....and we will be on our way tomorrow. I often do feel like a gypsy moving from one spot to another....and each year my gratitude grows as I am able to continue this lifestyle. HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND A MERRY CHRISTMAS

This is a picture of our little tree this year.  Each year our trees seem to be smaller, a function of our getting older and just wanting to deal with less stuff.  I'm sure a few of you feel them same.  Although it does seem to be a little weird that we want to deal with fewer Christmas decorations and give each other MORE STUFF in the way of presents under the tree.   Ahhh...being human is such a quandary sometimes!                                          MERRY CHRISTMAS                                                          Jo
